-- Gnostech awarded $12M contract for services and material support --

Gnostech Inc. has been awarded a $12M contract valued for services and material to support enhancement and utilization of the Global Positioning System (GPS) Central Engineering Activity (CEA) Facility.

The GPS CEA Facility is a Research and Development (R&D) laboratory established at SPAWAR Systems Center, San Diego (SSC-SD) under sponsorship of SPAWARSYSCOM (PMW-170) and the GPS Joint Program Office (JPO). The CEA User Equipment (UE) Facility is dedicated to GPS development and integration. This effort comprises engineering, analysis and design efforts.

Since 1981, Gnostech Inc. has been providing consulting and engineering services to the US Navy, and in the past 5 years, providing Information Assurance (IA) services to both the Navy and Coast Guard, either as a Security, Test and Evaluation (ST&E) team or Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) team.
