Quality Assurance: Total Quality Management (TQM) is employed throughout our management process in planning and in performance of the work. It consists of continuous process improvement activities involving everyone in the organization - managers and staff - in a totally integrated effort toward improving performance at every level. Our personnel have been trained in TQM through formal, contact required programs, and through informal sessions such as employee lunch time seminars. Improved performance is directed toward satisfying goals such as quality, cost, schedule and suitability. Emphasis is place on attitude and commitment by management and staff on the quality of the product delivered. Implementation results in a dynamic, continuous improvement of performance. Each step involves a series of well defined, straightforward activities, which lead directly into subsequent steps. As the improvement process is continuous, the procedure is repeated.
For the proposed effort, Gnostech’s QA program will ensure the highest quality product is delivered in support to tasking. The program is focused in two areas: overall contract and individual task assignments. We will review all incoming tasks, work in progress, and final output.
Primary responsibility for program QA rests with the Program Manager who monitors day-to-day task assignment activities and implements corrective actions as required. Delivery Order Leaders will also review all task progress, and conduct in-progress quality reviews of al tasks. Discrepancies will be documented on discrepancy reports and forwarded to the PM for resolution. All products must undergo this QA scrutiny. Our use of stringent systematic Quality Assurance procedures and policies assures high quality products. Product quality applies to all levels of company endeavor, from the proposal stage through packaging and delivery of the product.
Gnostech has in place a peer review system to review a work product (documentation, software, etc.) and the associated process by the producer’s peers for the purpose of identifying defects and improvements. Defects found early in development lead to on-time delivery and better quality products.
