Gnostech is pleased to announce the recent hiring of James Roe as the Director of Business Development and Troy Vest as the Director of Maritime and International Affairs. As members of Gnostech’s senior leadership team, both directors will play a key role in furthering the company’s strategic pursuits within the defense and maritime industries.
As Director of Business Development, Mr. Roe will primarily perform market analysis, conduct strategic business planning, and perform capture strategy and solution development for Gnostech’s defense industry priorities. He has supported various Navy and defense programs directly related to Gnostech’s core capabilities for a variety of large and small defense industry companies. Additionally, Mr. Roe has extensive commercial and federal agency contract management experience.
In his role as Director of Maritime and International Affairs, Mr. Vest will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships in the international maritime and naval communities to promote Gnostech’s interests related to cybersecurity and port and maritime security. Mr. Vest recently retired from U.S. Coast Guard after 25-plus years. He served at the U.S. embassies in Peru, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Additionally, Mr. Vest has extensive maritime law enforcement and operational leadership experience while serving in the Coast Guard.

Both directors will be based out of Gnostech’s office in San Diego, CA.
