The largest BlueTech cluster in the United States has honored Gnostech Inc. for its continued support and collaboration with companies and organizations across the Blue eco-systems.
The Maritime Alliance (TMA), a San Diego, CA based non-profit industry association, presented Gnostech with the Maritime Community Leadership Award during its 9th Annual BlueTech Week, November 6-10, 2017.
President James Espino accepted the award on behalf of the company from TMA President Michael Jones at the Maritime Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, where TMA honored a select number of individuals and organizations for their work in the Blue economy.
Speaking about the award, Espino said: “We are honored to receive this recognition, and personally thank President Michael Jones, Executive Director Greg Murphy and the rest of TMA. We continue to interact with delegates from across the global sector thanks to our partnership with TMA, expand our reach, and spread our cybersecurity philosophy to secure maritime systems, assets and facilities.”
In addition to Gnostech’s award recognition, Espino provided a cybersecurity engineering presentation at the BlueTech Summit and Tech Expo.
BlueTech Week brought together over 480 professionals, investors, educators, and government officials to collaborate on issues, engage in key topics and develop partnerships that promote the global Blue economy. Centering on a theme of “Smart Ocean, Smart Water,” TMA organized seven events over a five-day period.
